Joe was known for being a handyman and could fix or build just about anything. He was a family man and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of his time fishing and hunting. Some of his children's best memories involved being on the lake or hunting with him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Becky Arnold; son and daughter in law, Chad and Tracie Arnold; his daughter, Leighann Ethridge; stepchildren, Levi and Alexis Hendley, Jake and Chelsea Hendley, Morgan Hendley and Chris Brouillette; his beloved grandchildren, Jaylen Arnold, Emma Ethridge, Alivia Ethridge, Eva Stringer, Ryder Hendley, Ryley Brouillette, Oaklynn Hendley, Jace Hendley, KJ Hendley and Zeke Hendley; sister and brother in laws, Betty and Chuck Avery, Rhonda and Doug Nations, Denise and Dennis Robinette, Missy and Neal Shadburn.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home 38 Jackson St. Newnan, GA with Pastor Tim Camp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
