Juanita Nadine Wofford

Juanita Nadine Wofford of Bonne Terre, Missouri, was born on February 2, 1937 in Williamsville, Missouri, a daughter of the late Atrie Strange and the late Ora (Box) Strange. Juanita passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 27, 2022, having reached the age of eighty-five years, eight months, and twenty-five days.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her two children: Darlene Curtis (husband, Keith), Steve McCollum (wife, Glenda); grandchildren: Brady Weatherly (Sheri), Tracy Butler (Jay), Michael McCollum (Michelle), Lanette Steward (Frank), Christy Turnbough (Jeremy), Keith Curtis Jr. (Tricia), Makayla Curtis, Tyler Curtis (Molly), Kalei Curtis, Abigail Curtis; 20 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Denver Strange, Donald Strange (Geraldine), Doyle Strange (Fran), Ronald Strange (Cathy); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and her puppy Jinky.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Arley Wayne Wofford on April 2, 1999; brothers: Emil Strange, Chandler Strange, Coy Strange, Norval Strange; sisters: Lora Pearson and Barbara Christopher.
She attended Restoration Worship Center. She truly loved the Lord with all of her heart as well as her family. She enjoyed her trips to Walmart where she would spend most of her time. She found joy in going to the Desloge Senior Apartments and made many wonderful friends. She also loved singing and cooking for family dinners.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 01, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm, at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. Interment and final prayers will be held at Miner Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.
