Judith Ann Huntzinger

Judith Ann Huntzinger, 77, of Weirton, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 12, 2023, at her residence. Born, November 1, 1945, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Sarah Virginia (Provance) Salmon. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her older sister Martha (Salmon-Smith) Dolan, niece Judith (Smith) Raney, nephews Glenn Smith, and Roger Leighton. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her husband of 57 years, Robert Scott Huntzinger and by her sons, Paul Robert Huntzinger (54) of Denver, CO., and Keith Richard Huntzinger (52) along with his wife, Karen of Weirton; sister, Nancy Dineley and her husband, Dennis of Weirton and grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph and Grace Huntzinger of Weirton as well as numerous nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.
Judy was a loving grandmother, mother, wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt and loyal friend. A graduate of Wilkinsburg High School, she dedicated numerous years working at several different places including Duquesne University, Ocean-Air International and the Brooke County Library. Judy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Weirton, and like her mother, she enjoyed following the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
Judy is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel where she will be cremated. A memorial service is planned for June 17, 2023 at Christ United Methodist Church in Weirton at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
