Judith Mika Lamberth
June 16, 1939 - February 4, 2024
Judith "Judy" Mika Lamberth was a devoted wife of 64 years, mother of four, grandmother to twelve, and great grandmother to five. She went home to Jesus suddenly on February 4, 2024 at age 84.
Judy was born to Fred and Mildred Mika on June 16, 1939 in
Brownwood, TX. After graduating from high school in
Brownsville, TX. and obtaining her teaching degree from the University of North Texas, Judy pursued her dream to teach. She fell in love with her husband, Gene Lamberth, married in 1959, and together they had 4 children: Brad, Stefani, Kevin and Jennifer.
Judy was completely given over to her faith and served faithfully in the Rockwall community, where she and Gene served at Lakeshore Church for 28 years. Her deep love for others was demonstrated each time she opened her home and kitchen to so many. She and Gene also served for many years on missions to the country of Romania with 'ServingHIM', a ministry dedicated to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ utilizing healthcare to make disciples through Christ, bringing hope and healing world wide.
Judy exemplified grace, humility and love in everything she did. Gene was her first and only love and it showed in her devotion to and respect for Gene. They loved each other deeply and selflessly gave to each other. These building blocks rested on the solid foundation of Jesus. Jesus was her forever love. She exemplified Jesus in her walk with anyone in which she came in contact. She loved her family, especially her children, and friends. She leaves a legacy of love, faith, family, generosity and kindness that goes far beyond her hometown of
Heath, TX.
Even while serving and loving others through ministry, the light of hope and life was wonderfully expressed. Judy's light shined brightest, when serving the broken hearted and sharing the gospel.
Her heart was full of wisdom, which she shared through counseling and mentoring others.
The lineage of her love began with and continues within her husband Gene whom she loved with all her heart. She is loved and adored by her brother, Don Mika and his wife, Janet, as well as her four children, twelve grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren:

She adored and absolutely cherished each one of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the imprint she left on these will be carried forward as a testament to that love. We grieve our immense loss, but Judy is now in the presence of Christ with the myriads of saints that have gone before her, including her own loving parents, Fred and Mildred Mika.
