Katherine Horsley Obituary

Born in Rocky Mount, VA, Katherine was the daughter of the late Henry and Bessie Sigmon. She was a graduate of Martinsville High School and was an employee of Tultex for many years, but afterwards found true fulfillment working with children. Kathy enjoyed spending time with family, Italian food, politics, and Smoky Mountain vacations. She also enjoyed cooking for everyone around her. Her grandchild, Kennedi, was the brightest star in her sky.
Surviving are her husband, Donnie Horsley; her daughter, Bridgette (Horsley) Smith; siblings, Rachel Carter, Carolyn McCloud, Ruth Brim, Martha Jean Brown; and grandchild, Kennedi Smith.
Per the wishes and request of Kathy, no memorial service is planned, however, a family memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
