Debra Knight Wall

Debra Knight Wall, 64, passed away peacefully in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Born in Rock Hill and raised in Fort Mill, Debra was a proud graduate of Fort Mill High School, Class of 1979. After earning her cosmetology license, she went on to build a long and respected career as an underwriter in the life insurance industry.
Beyond her professional achievements, Debra was best known for her generous spirit and deep commitment to her community. As an active member of the Ol' School Crowd-a Fort Mill High alumni charity group-she worked tirelessly to raise and donate funds to cover meal debts for schoolchildren in the Fort Mill School District. Her kindness and compassion touched countless lives, and her legacy of giving will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Debra is survived by her two daughters, Laura Nielsen and Kristin Wall; and by her beloved grandchildren, Talon and Rowan Nielsen, and Camden Fox.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Monday, October 27, at The Journey Church in Lake Wylie. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at noon. Interment will take place afterward at Flint Hill Cemetery in Fort Mill.
Debra will be remembered for her laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and community. Her light lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
