Johnson, Kathy Lorraine, age 51, of Allegan passed away January 26, 2005. Kathy was born on June 7, 1953 in Jackson, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Hanes) Stoner. Kathy is survived by her children: Melodie L. Johnson of Kalamazoo and her fiancé: Ian T. Rush; Shawn L. Johnson of Otsego; step-daughter: Tatia (Jeff) Ryan of FL; grandson: Tyler J. Rush, step-grand children: Payton Ryan, Logan Ryan; grandmother: Mildred G. Hanes, of Jackson; brothers: William T. (Bonnie) Stoner of FL; David M. (Debbie) Stoner of Parma; sisters: Mildred S. (Walt) Bartlett of Brooklyn; Charlene K. (Chuck) Metro of Manchester; Bonnie L. Stoner of Napoleon and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, special friends and co-workers. Contributions may given to Hospice of Jackson & Oaklawn. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. A memorial service for Kathy will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel, Brooklyn, where family will receive friends at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 with the Reverend Christine Barnes officiating. Melodie and Shawn, my prayers are with you. I look out my windows and miss the family that I would once see playing or working in the yard. Your Mom was a strong, kind hearted person and will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear about Kathy. I lived by Kathy and worked with her also. She was a very caring person. She will be missed, knowing she is there with her angels seems to be of comfort. She also had a great family when she needed them the most. Sending my hugs...
