Les had been employed for over 20 years at Logistics Trucking Co. and retired in 2019. He enjoyed collecting and working on classic cars and trucks. He could "McGyver" almost anything.
Les was the devoted husband of the late Vicki Fredericks Slade and is the loving father of Joyce Lue (Kevin) and proud grandfather of Brandon and Taylor Lue. He is the brother of Deborah Coppola (Joe) and Sandra Milter. He is the uncle of Brad Chamberlain (Jen), Joseph Coppola (Carolyn) and Sean Coppola and grand uncle of Joshua, Sam, Nathan and Adriana.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday September 9, 2023 at 3 pm at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-3 pm prior to the memorial service.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
