Manuela enjoyed sewing and working in the garden. She loved flowers and was a great cook, especially her tamales and beans. Manuela spoiled her grandkids and loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys with her sons. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcial; four sons, Augustin Martinez, Ramon H. Martinez, Martin M. Martinez and Hector Martinez; two daughters, Nellie Martinez and Alicia Martinez; and a grandson, Ismael Zachariah Martinez; two sisters; and one brother.
Manuela is survived by three sons, Manuel Martinez of Muleshoe, Texas, Miguel Martinez and his wife, Mariola of Muleshoe, Texas and Jorge Martinez and his wife, Tania of New York; two daughters, Maria Sanchez and her husband, Ralph of Muleshoe, Texas and Olga Belanger and her husband, Jeff of Amarillo, Texas; 39 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
