Manuela was born February 17, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Manuela (Garces) and Pedro Reyes. She spent most of her life as a resident of Sinton, Texas and provided for her family as a homemaker. Manuela was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Noe Munguia, Sr.; parents: Pedro Reyes and Manuela Santellan; sister: Berta Torres; brother: Alejandro Reyes.
Survivors include her sons: Henry Santellan from San Antonio, Texas, Jimmy Santellan (Kwi) from Kileen, Texas, Noe Munguia, Jr. from Laredo, Texas; Freddy Munguia (Beatrice) and Richard Munguia (Rachel) both from Sinton, Texas; daughters: Ester Padilla, Melissa Gonzales both from Sinton, Texas, and Terry Munguia from San Antonio, Texas; 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brother: Gilbert Reyes from San Antonio, Texas; sisters: Guadalupe Reyes, Juanita Ramirez (Ralph), Oralia and Juanita all from San Antonio, Texas.
Pallbearers will be: Noe Munguia, III, Tony Botello, Jr., Willie Gonzales, Jr., Eric Gonzales, Freddy Munguia, Jr., Richard Munguia, Jr., Fabian Munguia, Steven Munguia.
Until we meet again Mom, we love you and we will carry your memory with us, give daddy a kiss from us. May you both rest in peace.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 7, 2023, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
