Mark Vowell Obituary
Mark E. Vowell, age 73 of Faiborn, passed away surrounded by his family March 10, 2023. He was born March 13, 1949 in Sullivan, Indiana, the son of the late Donnelly and Betty (Davis) Vowell. Mark was a 1967 graduate of Fairborn High School and joined the Air Force Reserves after graduation. He was a truck driver for the city of Tampa for many years. Mark enjoyed golfing and spending time with family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two nephews, David Griesinger and Thomas Vowell. Mark is survived by two brothers, David (Michele) Vowell, Michael (Mindy) Vowell; sister, Vicki Oaks; nieces and nephews, DeeAnn (Jim) Shutt, Donna (Dale) Blankenship, Kimberly Vowell, Evan Vowell, Meghann (Kyle) Thacker, Kristin (Daniel) Park; wife, Nella Vowell; as well as extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the Soin ICU nurses for their kind and loving care. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
