He received his early education from the Bayonne Public School system where he attended Henry E. Harris and graduated from Bayonne High School in 1984. After high school, he attended and graduated from Devry Institute of Technology in 1988. He then entered the United States Army and served until he was honorably discharged and returned to Bayonne, NJ.
He then started his career at United Airlines (formerly known Continental Airlines) as a customer service representative until his retirement.
He had a deep and passionate love for children and animals.
He was preceded in death by his father (Junius Vaughn), mother, (Gloria Jean (Scott) Vaughn) brother, (Samuel "Glen" Vaughn), sister, (Barbara Jean Vaughn.)
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: loving, devoted and special friend, Marva Burroughs-Parker, long- time friends and classmates, James Colasurdo, Mike DiVizio, Chris Lee, Daryl Rowan and Harry Cuyler. A host of other dear cousins, and friends.
Public service will be held at Jackson Funeral Residence on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
