Melanie "Mya" Combest

Funeral services for Melanie "Mya" Combest of Hallsville will be held at Trails End Cowboy Church in Hallsville, TX, on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:00 AM. A comital service will be held at the Bogata Cemetery in Bogata, TX at 2:00 PM. A visitation for Mya will be held on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Trails End Cowboy Church. She passed away on October 24, 2023, in Longview TX.
Melanie was born in Longview on March 20, 1961, to parents Preston and Toni Combest. Upon her graduation from High School, she worked for Texas Eastman. Melanie enjoyed traveling with her family and friends and treasured every moment that she spent with her children. Melanie also was a practical joker who went above and beyond to lighten anyone's spirits.
Melanie was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Toni Combest. Those left to cherish their memories of Melanie include her wife, Rebecca Baxley; children Caitlyn, Chase, Calli, and Connor; her siblings Clint Combest and his wife Julie, Stacey Stansbury and her husband Tim, and Amber Ramsey her husband Rusty; her nieces Angel, Shaina, Ashley, Ashley, Lauren, Brooke, Chellyn, and Cayli; her nephews Cody, Kerry, Kyle and Cheston; as well as many great nieces and great nephews and many many loved ones.
