Michael “Mike” John Howland, age 63, of Merrill, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born on July 24, 1960 to the late John and Leila (Krueger) Howland in Merrill, WI. Mike attended and graduated from Merrill High School, before going to work for Ace Hardware in Merrill for many years. He then opened his own tax business in Merrill, and retired from that in 2020. Mike enjoyed watching the Packers and going to his cottage in Tomahawk and traveling to Arizona.
Mike is survived by his sisters: Lori (Dan) Johnson of Irma, WI and Lisa Mussell of Merrill and nephews: Tyler Lesieur, Phillip Mussell, Jesse (Suzette) Harmon and Joshua (Leah) Harmon. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private prayer service will be held for Mike.
