Monica A. Valadez was called up to be with the Lord on Monday February 6, 2023. She was 47 years old. Monica was born In San Antonio, Texas on December 27, 1975.
Monica's parents are Loretta Villarreal (deceased), and Ramon Villarreal. She is the oldest of 4. Sisters, Erica Villarreal Santiago (Benny), Lorie Villarreal, and brother Ramon "Chacho" Villarreal (deceased) (Josephine). By the grace of God we were able to meet and build relationships with ½ brothers/sisters, Max Garcia (Melissa), Robert Villarreal, Dominic Villarreal, Ysla, and their beautiful families. Monica grew up on the West Side of San Antonio, and graduated from Fox Tech High School. She began working at the Radisson Hotel during High School, where she eventually met another employee there named Richard Valadez. In 1998, Monica married Richard Valadez and have been married for just short of 25 years. Together they had 4 children: Richard Ismail (deceased), Illiana Alexis, Meagan Brianne, Bianca Gabrielle. She went on to work for Humana, paying medical claims and eventually United Health Care having various positions, which is where she has worked for over 20 years.
Monica had a love for shopping, and listening to music. There was never a sale that she wasn't aware of. Salespeople at some of her favorite stores knew her by name. Her favorite musical artists were Bruno Mars, Post Malone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, La Mafia, Mazz, Emilio Navaira and many more.
Her greatest love was that of her family, her main priority was the wellbeing of her daughters and being their best friend as well as their mother. She knew when to be a mom and when to be a friend. Some of the greatest memories we have of her are the simple nights at home being silly with the girls, family gatherings, and "tequila nights" laughing and listening to music. To say that she is going to be missed is simply not enough.
Her husband, daughters, sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends will all forever love and miss her!

February 10, 2023

We met at the Radisson. Monica Rick and I. I was her maid of honor at their wedding. We go way back and when we talked it was like we never missed a beat. She gave me my nickname Fea.
She was the reason I would always say Chiwowa everything was ahi Chiwowa Fea
I remember her hair used to be as curly as mine but she used to straighten it all the time so it looked naturally straight

She will be missed deeply by everyone she ever touch path.

Rick my prayers that you hold strong for your girls knowing she's by your side everyday.

Fea
