Obituary of Patricia Ann Fleming
Patricia Ann Fleming, 73, passed away on December 8, 2023, in North Port, FL. She was born on March
20, 1950, in Vineland, NJ, to Arthur Boots and Viola (Bergamo) Smaniotto. Patricia graduated from Vineland High School in 1968 and Glassboro State College with her bachelor's degree in education. She married her husband James Edward Fleming, Jr. in 1989. Patricia worked for 17 years at St. Mary's school in Vineland before starting her public-school teaching career in the Hamilton Township School District, Mays Landing, N.J. until retirement in 2014. She and James relocated to North Port, FL in 2017.
Patricia enjoyed art and crafts. She also loved going on cruises.
She was a past president of the Capri Swim Club and Landis Township Jaycees.
She will be remembered as a loving, wife, stepmother, step grandmother, aunt, godmother, and mentor to many young teachers.
Patricia is predeceased by her father "Boots and mother Viola. Her in-laws James E Fleming Sr. and Joan Fleming, and nephew Frankie Cassisi.
She is survived by her Husband James, stepchildren Julie Fleming, Kelli Fleming and partner Reese
Swanson, and Kevin Fleming and his wife Maggie, sister Lois Cassisi and husband Joe, sister Kathy Keil and her husband Fred, sister Diane and husband John Fegal, and brother Arthur and wife Denise. She is also survived by Brother-in laws Bill Fleming and his wife Barb, Barry Fleming and his wife Lori, and Brian Fleming. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Jan Rosetti and husband Mike, Joy Regitz and husband Mike.
She is also survived by four stepchildren, Ethan (EJ) Fleming, Aiden Fleming, Jackson fleming, and Nicole Heayn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10:30am to 12:00pm with a funeral mass beginning at 12:30pm on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Padre Pio Parish, 4680 Dante Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361.
