Thomas Dutra, 62, of Buena Vista Township, passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2025.

Born on May 18, 1963, in Vineland, NJ, Tom was a lifelong South Jersey resident. Thomas graduated from Vineland High School in 1981. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent many years working as a welder at his family's business, Dutra Sheet Metal. He later served his community with honor as a corrections office at the Atlantic County Justic Facility, from which he retired.

Tom was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Dutra, and his beloved son, Nicholas Thomas Dutra. He was predeceased by his father, John J. Dutra, Sr., his mother, Frances Dutra, and his brother, Carl Dutra. He is also survived by his siblings: John J. Dutra, Jr., Lisa Dutra-Molinelli (husband John), Tracey Ann Dutra, and Jeff Dutra (wife Amy); and his sister-in-law, Cindy Dutra (Carl's wife). Tom was a cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Tom had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He was an avid reader, bicyclist, and motorcycle enthusiast who loved the open road. He took pride in caring for his property and could be found working in his garage, fixing things around the house, or crafting pieces from wood and metal. Whether repairing furniture or just tinkering, Tom found joy in working with his hands.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:00am until 11:00am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Vineland.

Tom will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that, if you wish, donations be made to one of the following causes that were close to Tom's heart:
