Patrick Blackwell Obituary
A True Son of the South, governed by his personal honor as a man rather than any arbitrary laws; who detested a liar, loved his family more than himself, always had a joke for any situation, & worked hard from childhood to disability. His heart couldn't abide leaving an animal, a neighbor, or a friend in need of help. In the course of his life he overcame addiction, betrayal, & hardships of all sorts that would break another man's spirits. He will be missed by all those who knew him well, and warmly met again in the hereafter.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at The Worship Center, South Boston, VA.
Arrangements are by Brooks Lyon Funeral and Cremation Services, 115 Main Street, South Boston, VA.
