Pauline Pelcyger

Pauline (Levy) Pelcyger, 85, of Avon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Hebrew Health and Rehabilitation in West Hartford, CT. Born April 17, 1939, in the Bronx, New York, to the late Sol and Hattie (Rudner) Levy, Pauline graduated James Monroe High School and attended CCNY. She worked as a secretary and in various sales positions. A free spirit, she enjoyed traveling to Israel, Europe, the United States and Canada.
She met her husband Frank at Grossinger's Catskill Resort Hotel, and they lived throughout the tri-state area before settling in Avon, Connecticut over forty-five years ago. Artistically gifted, she enjoyed embroidery, coloring intricate designs, and had a passion for her gemstone collection. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed recounting colorful stories of their mom and dad.
Pauline is survived by her son, David Pelcyger and wife, Lisa, of New Jersey, her daughter, Victoria Segal and her partner, Richard Lander of Long Island, NY, and her grandchildren; Julia, Sophia, Danny and Sarah. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Pelcyger and both of her parents, Sol and Hattie Levy.
