I met Mr. Schmidt when I was in the process of moving out of town. He was the closest person in town that had a dolly that I could hook my car to the Uhaul. Phil was a very friendly and pleasant man. We talked about a lot of things that day. And his final words to me were, "safe travels my friend, great things are going to happen for you in Florida". The look of happiness and sincerity is what I remember as I was pulling off to embark on a new journey in my life. When I received the phone call that my new friend had passed, I was devastated. It was hard to hold back the tears as I was driving down the highway. Phil, I would like to think that God had other things planned for you. And you will forever be my angel. And your words proved to be true for me. Nothing but good things have happened for me since I have been here. Thank you for being a beacon of light in my life. You are truly missed. Tracey Brewer
