Richard McLaughlin

Richard Mclaughlin departed this life on February 13, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Richard was born August 28, 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware to Nettie McLaughlin and the late Calvin Gregory.
Richard attended Howard High School and obtained his bachelor's degree from Springfield College. He was very involved in the community and giving back to the youth. Richard was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and he also loved basketball. He is a published author of a novel titled Southside Hustler. Richard loved fashion, he would always dress to impress. Richard was a loving husband and father and he adored his grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his grandmother, Allie Mae Mclaughlin; Grandfather, Richard Mclaughlin and father, Calvin Gregory.
Richard is survived by his wife, Latoya Mclaughlin, mother, Nettie McLaughlin; children, Ashley Needhidass, son-in-law, Samuel Needhidass, daughter, Wynter McLaughlin, daughter-in-law, Samantha Jackson, daughter, Khia Patrick, son, Roderick Wrice, stepchildren, Jasmine Anderson, Jonquil Anderson, Jordan Anderson; grandson, Israel Needhidass; granddaughter, Mckenzie Anderson; brother, Derwin McLaughlin; nephew, Derwin Mclaughlin II; niece, Trinity Jackson; god sister, Mary Jackson; goddaughter, Nilah Johnson and a host of family and friends
