Roberta Jane Hassman

Roberta Jane Hassman, 87, of Massillon, passed away on December 18, 2023, at Amherst Meadows Nursing Center with her family by her side.
She was born on October 7, 1936, to the late Kenneth and Margaret (Coulter) Davis of Logan, WV.
Roberta was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1954. She retired from Fleming Foods in 1996, was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, and former member of The Massillon Tiger Swing Band Parent's Booster Club. She loved traveling, playing cards with her friends, and attending luncheons with the Class of 1954. She was incredibly dedicated to her family and never missed the opportunity to attend activies and events that her grandchildren participated in. She also enjoyed going to the Eagles and the Sons of Herman with her friend of many years, Walt Friend. Roberta's favorite thing to do was spend time with her three daughters. She especially enjoyed going on shopping trips together where she never failed to buy matching purses for herself and her girls.
Roberta is survived by her loving children, Kathy (Steve) Kobilarcsik, Kim (Blake) Brenner, and Karen (Bob) Robinson; grandchildren, Jake (Abby) Kobilarcsik, Alyse (Pete) Kraft, Brian (Calen) Robinson, Danny (Emily) Robinson, Lucas Aventino, Addy Brenner, and Kelli Brenner; great grandchildren, Brooks, Kipton, and Easton; siblings, Kenneth (David) Davis and Kathern (Arnold) Gordon-Wright.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald "Toby" Hassman; and brother, Marion Davis.
Private services will be held for family at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon.
