In the grand poker game of life, Thomas John "Tommy" Fish, Jr. has cashed out his chips and folded his hand for the last time. Born in the bustling town of Warrick, Rhode Island, on October 26, 1962, Tommy lived a memorable 62 years before setting off on his ultimate fishing trip to the great beyond on May 19, 2025, from Zephyrhills, Florida.
Tommy spent his days as a Flooring Installer, where he was known for laying down the finest floors this side of the Mississippi. But his true passions were what kept him reeling in the joy of life: poker, fishing, baseball, trips to the beach, and, of course, cheering on his beloved New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. When he wasn't perfecting his poker face or casting a line, Tommy could be found basking in the company of family and friends, reveling in both the sunshine and occasional sand between his toes.
Preceded by his daughter, Savannah; brother, Glen Fish; sister, Maureen Fish; and his parents, Patricia and Thomas Fish, Sr., Tommy leaves behind a lively crew to keep the party going. His fiancée of almost 20 years, Sonja, will miss his cheeky humor and warm heart. Brother Greg O'Donnell and Steven Fish, niece Christina Fish, Uncle Kenny Fish, Edward Beliawsky, and cousins Corina Beliawsky and Jason Bentley will continue to cherish their memories of Tommy's antics. Let's not forget his loyal canine companion, Pepper Fish, who was always ready for an impromptu beach day or spirited tailgate.
Though no services are planned at this time, friends and family are encouraged to honor Tommy's memory by raising a glass, dealing a hand of poker, or rooting extra loudly for his cherished sports teams. Rest assured, Tommy is now enjoying the best seats in the house, probably situated on a heavenly beach with a fishing pole in one hand and a winning poker hand in the other.
