Thomas St. Thomas Obituary
Tom was the loving son of Oscar and Grace (Henegan) St. Thomas and was born and raised in Worcester, MA. He graduated from St. John's High School in 1971. He attended Bridgewater State University where he received a bachelor's degree in education in 1975. Tom met the love of his life, Susan (Wilson) St. Thomas, at an event at the Unitarian Universalist Church in 1982. They married on June 30th 1984 and settled in Bridgewater, where they raised their three children.
Tom established himself in the community by specializing in painting, fixing, and treating metal roofs. He took great pride in his work. Tom loved music. He participated in his church choir, the BSU alumni choir and played harmonica in the Male Bonding Band. He had a close-knit group of friends and was deeply devoted to his First Parish Bridgewater Unitarian Universalist Church.
Tom will be remembered for his loud, friendly and outgoing demeanor. He was very sociable and loved meeting new people. He could and would strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. He will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.
Thomas is predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Grace (Henegan) St. Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Susan (Wilson) St. Thomas of Bridgewater, and their children Lydia Landim and her husband Leonildo of Berlin, NH, Kyle St. Thomas and his wife Jacqueline of New Bedford, and Chloe St. Thomas-Larrea and her husband Luis of East Bridgewater. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Carolyn St. Thomas and many friends who had the pleasure of knowing him.
All are cordially invited to a wake at the Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater MA on Friday July 5th from 3-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday July 6th at 11am at the First Parish Bridgewater Unitarian Universalist Church, 50 School St. Bridgewater.

Today is December 31st and I just out that you passed away my friend. Even though I was your trainer at the gym, I treated you like a mentor and great friend. Our time at the gym was the best with all the trivia we did between exercises and the history you shared with me about past wars. You will be missed my friend!!!

Positive energy: He was so welcoming at the UU Church and I enjoyed hearing about the band. Such a sad loss for family and community, my condolences to all who held him in their hearts.

I am so sad to read of Tom´s death. My first impression was how he could see with all the paint on his glasses!! I first met him when I worked at Estabrook and Chamberlain. Whenever he did work across the street from me he always came over and gave me a hug and asked how I was doing. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Laughter is my first thought of Tom. He has a great laugh and smile. You always knew when he was in the room. He lit it up with joy and laughter.
