Audra Wanda McLellan of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Brookfield Assisted Living in Fort Smith. She was born on November 13, 1923, in Fort Smith to the late O.R. Stewart and Gladys Beatrice Efurd Stewart. She was 100 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Earnest McLellan; a son, Stewart Dee McLellan; and her sister, Evelyn Stewart.
Early in life, Wanda was a secretary for OG&E and after marriage, she became a homemaker. For many years, she was a faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church in Fort Smith and later a faithful member and devoted Sunday school teacher for many years at Fianna Hills Baptist Church, which is now Forefront Church of Fort Smith. She loved her family and her church family very much and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 24th at Forefront Church in Fort Smith, with Pastor Lee Kemp officiating. Burial of cremains will be placed at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood. The address for Forefront Church, 10300 Jenny Lind Road, Fort Smith, AR 72908.
She is survived by two sons, Terry McLellan and wife Katherine of Fort Smith and Scott McLellan and wife Cynthia of Tyler, Texas; (6) grandchildren; and (13) great-grandchildren.
