Wendy enjoyed spending summers at the "Beach House" on Topsail Island, NC, entertaining family at the holidays, and decorating her house to the standards of a Macy's department store at Christmas. She was an avid reader and later became a crossword aficionado to ward off the effects of advancing Alzheimer's.

Wendy was so special to all at Chesapeake Academy as secretary. She was there to help everyone and such an asset to the teachers and children. She was always a happy person. May she rest in peace.
