Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Kurt was the son of Donald Lasch and Loretta Gulyas. A 1973 graduate of Airport High School, Kurt went on to serve his country in the United States Navy from September 1, 1978 until August 17, 1984. He received the Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Battle E Award and Good Conduct Medal. After the service Kurt worked various positions including working construction, maintenance and driving truck. He was a member of the VFW Post 4230 Rock of Gibraltar. Kurt enjoyed Golfing, playing Billiards and Bowling, having accomplished bowling a perfect 300 game. Kurt leaves to cherish his memory his daughter; Kayla (Mark) Reaume Jr. of South Rockwood; a sister Tracey (Jack Cure) Druyor of Monroe; and a nephew Charles Druyor of Waukegan, Illinois. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a niece Tara Druyor. Click on the multimedia tab to view Kurt's video tribute.

My deepest condolences for kurts family. I was so saddened to here about the loss of such a funny and energetic person that I met a couple of years ago at the family restaurant in rockwood. Till we meet again buddy it sure won't be the same at the restaurant without you drinking coffee and having a good laugh every morning. RIP KURT...

Dear family of Kurt
Accept my sincere condolences regarding Kurts death. He was a regular customer at Dixie Cafe when i worked there, and before that Peggys. He is a wonderful man and I am sure it is a terrible loss to all of you. Kurt was never in a bad mood, always joking and talking. He could talk to anybody. He was everyones friend. Love to all of you and may he rest in peace.
Love
Joanne
