Dana Guerin Obituary
She was born on August 22, 1970 in Dixon, Illinois the daughter of David Otho and Polly Jean Nelson Guerin. She married Matt Hawk in Wataga, Illinois.
Surviving are her sons: Tyler (Felicia Benner) Guerin of Galesburg, Illinois and Nathaniel Edward Hobbs of Galesburg, Illinois; her parents David and Polly Jean Guerin of Galesburg, Illinois; her siblings: James D. (and Bonnie) Guerin, Kristina E. (and Boyd) Black, Stephanie A. (and Bobby) Zimmerman, and Jason A. (and Chrissy) Guerin all of Galesburg, Illinois; twelve nieces and nephews, two great nephews, and two grand dogs, Dro and Onyx. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy D. Guerin. She loved all of her family.
She worked as a cashier and in customer service at Farm King, Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Big Lots throughout her years. She was active in the Children's Miracle Network at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed traveling, helping with fund raisers and listening to country music.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 570 Jefferson Street in Galesburg, Illinois beginning at 11am. Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Tyler Guerin or sent to the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com.
