Redhead, Wes
Wesley Allen Redhead, 67, passed away on August 16, 2011, at Scottsdale. AZ., after a long-courageous battle with multiple cancers.
Wesley was born on July 8, 1944 to Carl and Helen Redhead in Barberton, Ohio. He moved to Phoenix in 1997, after working many years in Akron, Ohio, for Jay Stitz Builder. Due to health issues, he was forced to retire as a Project Manager from Southwest Homebuilders located in Scottsdale, AZ in 2006. He enjoyed golf and various other outdoor activities.
Wes was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jane Bowden Redhead; his son, Grant (Jen) Redhead; and, granddaughters, Lauren and Allison Redhead of Fort Myers, FL,; stepson, Keith Bowden; and, step-grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Bowden of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656, in memory of Wes.
A memorial service will take place, Saturday, October 8, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH 44203. The Redhead Family condolence book is available online at www.bacherfuneralhome.com. (Bacher, 330-825-3633)
