Dear Terry, I just heard about your wonderful mother who I last talked to about 8 years ago.She called me in regards to the Oprah show you were on..She was so proud of you and as you know Loved you so much This is Rock kauffman I worked for you at the consignment shop in Tempe...(1982)
You both were so good to me and even though I did not work for you long,You both believed in me and helped point me in the right direction. I moved to Grand Rapids Michigan and today own Rock home Studio a high end furniture and Design studio, as well I own with my mother, Sharon Failey a Consignment furniture store called "Hush".
I thought Loretta was one of the classiest Ladies I ever knew and always thought you two were a great team. The last time I heard from her was a Christmas card and she was in California...Terry,I hope to cross your path again some day...I have always been greatful for the early teachers in my career.

Dear Terri,

Your Mother was the tennis pro at the San Marcos Hotel in Chandler in the mid 1970's. Anyone playing tennis in Chandler in those years knew your Mom. She taught me and several of my brothers and sisters at the hotel. When I drive by the remains of the old tennis courts I think of those days when your mom would yell across the net when I was serving, "throw the ball higher!"

My family has followed your good fortune through the years and glad that your Mom was a part of it.

Please accept our sincere and heartfelt sympathy on her passing.

Teri, From the very first time I heard the story of your mom I was compelled to following it very closely. I lost my mom in 1999 but not as tragically as you lost yours. Even though my mom and I had our differences there is nothing like the friendship that we have with our mother. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you can reach closure now.

I have always felt I knew you Terry as yours was one of the earlier ads on TV that caught my eye when I arrived in Phoenix from Ohio. Having said that, my prayers have been strong that you would find your mother, in God's time and as someone earlier so nicely put-to be able to settle her at rest in a place you can spend with her there and more importantly from personal perspective, visualize that place any time and talk to her. And from my personal experience, hang on for the ride. Whenever I think about what to do about something and wish my mother were still alive, her advice always pops in to my mind. Our mothers will never be gone...That is just how the marvelous creature of God named "MOTHER" works.

With Love and Prayers, In His Name,

To Lorettas' family! I am a friend of Darla and many years ago took tennis lessons from Loretta. What a

Dear Terri,

We lived in Newton and then in Wichita when your mom and dad lived there. The last time we saw you, you were a very little girl, but we knew your mom well. We remember fondly the card games we played at her home after work at Arthur Murray's. She was one of my favorite dance partners, she did love to Lindy. Even after teaching when we were tired, if someone mentioned going dancing she was always ready. We also played tennis together when she visited in California or at reunions in Newton. We loved her and miss her. Our sincerest condolences go out to you and we will always remember her.

Terri,

I watched you speak of your mothers finding and thought to myself...what a remarkable person you are. I heard you say that you cannot be angry and hateful because that is not who you are. That is what I mean by remarkable. I know that it is Our Good Lord helping you get through all of this. Your mother was such a beautiful woman and I am sure that you get your great values from her. Let her be your sunshine that shines upon your face. The breeze that makes you embrace yourself, and the shining star that lights up your sky at night. May God Bless You and Your Family

Sincerely Yours.
