My heart goes out to Mr. Clingensmith and his family. I had him for math in my freshman year of high school. He was funny, and he went out of his way to help students, I remember him talking to me after my final exam, he said, John, you still got "A" for the final grade. I was relieved. He took a load off of my mind, I worked really hard in his class. He told me, John, you'll be in prep algebra next year! I was just at my 33rd class reunion this past weekend and only heard of his passing then. My sincerest thoughts and prayers are for him and his family.

Don Clingensmith was my classmate through !944-48 in Chicora High School. He was well-liked by all of us. Great Basketball player, and a fine actor in the Junior-Senior Plays. We met only several times in recent years through the School Reunions. May he rest in Eternal Peace . Sr. Mary Michael Burns

To Patty and all the Clingensmith family. I always looked up to Don and admired him for being such a really good person and feel that I became a better person because I knew him I'm so very sorry to hear that he has left us but feel confident that he entered that place called Heaven.
