Bob was a co-worker, art teacher, and most of all, a wonderful friend. I will never forget all the evenings we spent in his basement making stain glass, mosaics, and trying to draw. He was patient, kind, and helpful. Bob will truly be missed by everyone. My condolences to his family.

We knew the family well and our parents and Bob's parents always visited each other.It has been years since I had seen Bob but I remember going over to their house and playing with his brother John. I always enjoyed being around Bob. His wonderful stories were so interesting! I never met his family, but it was obvious how much he liked being from a large, loving family. My sympathy and prayers are with you and all his many friends. We will miss him.

Bob will be missed very much at the Kansas Historical Society. I enjoyed working with Bob in his new adventure in the imaging Lab.
I enjoyed listening to his travel stories.

Robert was a great neighbor and genuinely nice person. He was always so helpful at the historical society. I'll never forget seeing his German Octoberfest stein collection. Peace be with you! Your'e with your old pal Winston(bulldog) now.
