I was a young 15 year old playing on his JV team as an Immigrant from Cuba. They were difficult times for all .Coach was always a rock and a role Model. He exemplified what this Country should be all about . Had the blessing of being able to speak to him and Mary in his later years . Thank you for your kind heart and example Coach we love you and Mary and we will see you soon . You touched many kids in a positive way . God keep you sir and take it easy on them with those drills up there ! My condolences to Mary and the family . See you soon Coach keep that whistle handy ❤

Don’t know if you remember me and my then husband, Gary Blum, children Dottie & Gary, Jr but I sure remember you, Mary, Vincent and Vicky in Frankfort, Ky as great neighbors, friends and Mr. Softee. So sorry to read of Chuck’s passing and know he will be so missed by all your family and friends as you all are so blessed to have had him for so many years. Hope everyone is well and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed our friendship in those days. Love to you all.

I was very fortunate to have had Chuck Mrazovich as my basketball coach at Hialeah High School from 1963-1965. Not only was he a terrific coach but he also was a kind, caring and patient human being. He also was instrumental in helping me receive a scholarship to an excellent college, which ultimately gave me a future here in the U.S. rather than my having to go off to fight in Vietnam. I will forever be grateful to Coach for everything he did for me and my family.

I was very fortunate to have Chuck Mrazovich as my basketball coach for my junior and senior years at Hialeah High School, from 1963-1965. He was a terrific role model not just as a basketball coach but as a caring, mature human being. He was patient with his players and a great teacher of the sport. In addition, he was instrumental in helping me receive a scholarship to an outstanding college, which ultimately allowed me to have a successful future here at home, rather than ending up fighting in Vietnam. I will forever be grateful to "Coach" for all that he did for me.

THE FOLLOWING IS A POST I PUT ON FACEBOOK REGARDING YOUR BELOVED:
To all of my high school classmates, I share with you the passing of Mr. Chuck Mrazovich at the age of 96. He was our activities director while we attended HHS, but was also a coach and teacher during his time at our school. Under his tenure, he worked hard to provide us with a multitude of fun activities to offset the academic demands, broken hearts, and insecurities that often come with teenage years. He had an understanding of what it took to make a successful school and a happy student body. The dedication and love he displayed for his job and for our school was immense. As a matter of fact, at our 30th reunion, his sweet wife told me he loved us so much, he made a point to attend both our 20th and 30th class reunions. (See attached pictures, as well as a homecoming picture taken at the school in 1977.) Mr. Mrazovich, I thank you for making my life and so many others better and I am happy you were able to live a long, full life you were so deserving of. May you now rest in peace. ❤
