I recently had the pleasure of spending some time with Stu and Pat and other family members while at Blair's wedding last year. Stu has always been a bright and smiling addition to any gathering. I am grateful for the time God gave us to share. My sincere condolences to all.

A special thank you to all who came to the visitation and Memorial Service for Stuart, and all those who sent emails and messages here. Mom, Tam , Pat, our families & I (Lisa) were truly blessed to know that so many people had been a part of Stu's life and what a blessing his humor, friendship and hard work meant to you all. Thanks for blessing us with your remembrances of Stu.

My heart goes out to family and friends. We were neighbors and friends throughout high school. Stu's smile was genuine and his compassion for others was enlightening. Rest in peace and soar like an eagle.

Stu was a beautiful bright spot, always, even when in a view that had some very scenic points. He'll be remembered as such for a long time. Some day they'll figure out much better how to treat the physical ailments that are not as simple as a broken arm or clogged arteries. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sadness and loss.

Pat, I regret not being able to make it done for the viewing with Kelly. But, I do want you and the rest of the family to know that I am very sorry for your lose. Stu was a great person who I am glad to have been able to call family. My only regret is that Kelly and I never made it done to go horseback riding with the two of you. He will be missed by many but, he will remain in our hearts. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless.

Pat, I don't believe we have met. I am a RHPC charter member and on The Edge. I am so very sorry. As an RN who has dealt with depression, it is no different than diabetes, stroke, or heart attack. He just couldn't beat it before they could find a cure. Much love to all of you

I have worked in Freehafer with Stu since 2008 and am so saddened by the loss of such a great man. He always had a smile on his face and I am so sorry to find that he was struggling for so long. My blessings are with all who were a part of his life.

I first met Stu when I was a student writer with Telecommunications in 2003. I spent a summer working in FREH and MATH, writing documentation and talking with many of the technical staff. Stu was always kind, friendly and warm and it was always great talking with him when our paths crossed. My husband and I send prayers and condolences to Stu's family and close friends.

Stu will be greatly missed. He was always a good friend and our thoughts and prayers go out to Pat and family. We'll never forget how he took the time to lead our young daughter (Clare) on a horse named Taco years ago. Clare was really thrilled and talked about that for years. See all on Thur. this week. Regards, John Rider (Noblesville, IN).

Your honesty in the loss of Stuart from this world is appreciated. My own father died of 'heart disease' on the autopsy but it was from losing our mother. We have shared that with many so that they might not find guilt in knowing depression can be as deadly as heart disease. I wish you all well and express my sympathy for someone I only read about this morn. Bless your journey.
