Maureen, Frances and I just heard about Al. We are so sorry! We know he was such a special person and know he made you very happy. We remember all of the wonderful get togethers at the "farm" - Jennifer and Stephanie remember them also - and they were so young! Please know that our thoughts and prayers are we you and the entire family. We miss you!

Al was a very special person. He always had a hello when he saw you, and made the time for a conversation at the local New Hill store or earlier at his old family farm when it was hay making time. He was a kind and gentle soul, with a good sense of humor. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed in the New Hill area.

Al was my friend. I have missed him already. He always had time to stop and talk with me, I appreciated that. It is those times spent talking with Al I will miss most. Just two friends talking, that is a special memory for me I can never forget.

Maureen and family.

We will miss seeing Al out in the yard picking up sticks and making sure everything is in order. Al was always there when we needed him, and always willing to help. We will certainly miss him, and we certainly will keep you and all the family in prayers.

I was shocked to hear of Al's passing. Al was a good friend to me and my daughters when we lived in Apex (Our last name at that time was Safarian.) Al was a very honorable and good gentleman. We will keep your family in our prayers.
