Alex Gridley Obituary

Alex McKay Gridley, 21, of Greeneville, passed away Saturday at her home.

Alex was employed as a billing clerk at SOS Global.

She attended First Baptist Church.

She was a 2019 graduate of Chuckey-Doak High School and had attended Tusculum University.

She is survived by her parents: Brian and Natasha Gridley; a brother: Ben Gridley; grandparents: Gary and Frances Gridley and Lyle Smith; aunts and uncles: Brian and Teresa Smith, and Joe and Valerie Gonzalez; cousins: Chris and Tabatha Cutshall, Cody and Kacie Shipley, Mylee Gonzalez, Matt and Anika Smith, Hunter Cutshall, Liam and Emmie Smith, and Huxlei Shipley; a boyfriend: Colton Edwards; special friends: Caleigh "Spud" Norton and Dusty Smith; and her dog: Willow.

Alex was preceded in death by her nanny: Brenda Smith; an uncle: Jeff Smith; and other great-grandparents.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends and co-workers.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

There will be no formal funeral service at this time.
