ALOYSIUS HEW

Aloysius (Al) T. Hew 78, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife Diane and his daughters, Susan Hew and Christine Shannon of Novato, Jennifer Gallagher of New York, and their families. Born in Tarrytown, NY on May 23, 1934. He served proudly with E-2-5 USMC in Korea 1951 and came to California upon his discharge in 1954. He was a graduate of USF and a retiree of the SF Department of Public Works. Since retirement he became an avid social ballroom dancer and spent his later years in Sun Lakes, Az. He was a member of the VFW, Marines Memorial Club, E-2-5 Korea Association, CACA, National Smooth Dancers, and Phoenix USA Dance. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11:30am at Woodlawn Memorial Park's Chapel, 1000 El Camino Real, Colma, graveside service will follow.
