SOUTH JORDAN, UT/LAS VEGAS, NV-Anthony Joseph Compton, age 38, passed away August 3, 2013 in Price, Utah.
He was born October 16, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ronald A. and Lucille J. Bonaquisto Compton.
Funeral Mass, Saturday, August 10, 2013, 12:30 p.m., at St. Viators Catholic Church (2461 East Flamingo Road) in Las Vegas. A visitation and viewing will be Friday, August 9, 2013 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 South Eastern Ave) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Committal service to follow at Palm Eastern Cemetery, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price, Utah and Palm Mortuary of Las Vegas, Nevada. Friends are welcome to share memories of Anthony at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net or www.palmmortuary.com

Anthony, words can't express how saddened my family is to know you are gone. Our families have been in each others lives since I was just a little girl. I have so many many memories with Nicole, yourself and your family. You always made me feel like I was your little sister to. You had such a way of making everything fun and you were always filled with laughter. Life isn't always fair, but you brought out the best in everyone around you! I find peace knowing that you are now in heaven with your daddy and mine. I feel blessed that I was able to see you one last time for Nicole's wedding. I know you will be watching over your Mom and Nicole with so much love! You will forever be missed and remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved you forever.

Lucille and Nicole, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you strength and send my love. My sons Jeremy and Joshua remember "Uncle Anthony" and how much fun they had with him. As far back as I can remember you were always there. Every place Nicole and I were you were 10steps in front of us blazing the trail! I have endless memories of your laughter and your undeniable affect on everyone around you. While I'm so heart broken to see you leave us so soon, I find solace in the fact that you're where you are supposed to be, in a place much more beautiful than this one. Nicole and your mom have always been by my side and there they shall remain. God chooses his army well and he needed another soldier. Shake it up like I know you would! Thanks for putting up with me all those years and being a brother to me. I will never forget you oh and Ps. Thanks for getting your sister and I caught sneaking out in 7th grade it's a story my family tells time and time and time again!

Your smile, charisma, and loving personality are only some of the qualities that will genuinely be missed more than words. Not to mention your general presence that drew everyone to you ALWAYS! looking over all of the posts people have been sending you this last week,I am sad I never had chance to tell you how incredibly proud I am of u for helping and changing so many people's lives. I'm so glad all of us got to spend few hours together such a short time ago, and I will forever treasure that last, now sacred time, as well as the 20 years plus before that. I remember meeting you like it was yesterday! You were always such a good sport with all of us crazy girls. You had a way of adding joy to any conversation I had with you and I always walked away smiling. I'm so grateful for the recent time we shared together while celebrating Nicole and Rob's wedding. We are saddened by the news of Anthony's sudden passing. We've had the privelege of knowing him since shortly after his birth. Our daughter, Stephanie, counted herself as one of his many friends at St. Viator's & Gorman. He was always so 'well mannered and likeable' with a smile that could light up a room.I recall how close he was to his father, Ron, and how sad he was to lose him.It's a comfort to think of them being reunited in heaven.
Our hearts break for Lucille & Nicole. Please know that you are in our thoughts & prayers.

I was so sorry to hear about Anthony. I don't know if you remember or not, but my son Tommy also played baseball in high school against Anthony. Tommy went to Green Valley. I know how it is to lose a child because we lost our daughter, Tina, in May of 2012. She is also buried at Palm Mortuary on Eastern. I will keep you in my prayers and hope God will bless you and your family at this time. P.S. If you don't remember me, I worked at Sunrise Hospital in the Business office and Accounting.

My heart goes out to Lucille and Nicole.
I remember seeing Anthony at our family reunion in Lake Tahoe a few years ago, and what struck me was that even though we hadn't seen each other in awhile , he walked straight up to me, gave me a huge hug and told me how sorry he was about the recent passing of my dad. Anthony grew from a sweet boy into a kind and thoughtful man. I am praying that his family will find comfort and peace in time.

Every time I think of Anthony I remember him smiling and happy. His laugh always lit up the room. His great personality was infectious. I always loved being around Anthony - he will be missed! Rest in peace.

I only met Anthony less than a year ago when he came to my House for a Super Bowl party. Over the course of the year my Husband and I have come to love him for the amazing person he was. He was such a warm and friendly person, so caring and polite to my family. We enjoyed the opportunity to know him and have him in our extended family. He will be missed so much. My prayers are with his family and friends.

I am so saddened by Anthony's passing. He was one of the happiest, funniest, full of energy kids of all of my daughters friends. It was always a joy for me to run into him around town.
