Billy Williams Obituary

BROOKWOOD Billy "Junior" Williams, age 41, of Brookwood, died Feb. 3, 2013, at UAB Hospital. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Bro. Todd Burkhalter officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Williams, and his uncle, Coonie Williams.

Survivors include his daughter, Abby Williams; his son, Max Williams; his father, Billy Joe Williams Sr.; his sisters, Donna Meaney (Joey) and Rhonda Lauderdale (Kenny); his nephews, Corey Meaney (Erin), Austin Meaney, and Michael Meaney; and the mother of his children, Kristy Williams.

Known as "Junior" and "Buck," he enjoyed life and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He especially enjoyed the wonderful times with Abby and Max. He was a wonderful son, father, and brother, and a caring friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all.

Pallbearers will be Corey Meaney, Austin Meaney, Mark Williams, Andy Reach, Tommy Rogers, and Brian Bryant.

Honorary pallbearers are family and friends of the Brookwood and Vance communities.

Hard to put into words what to say....I just found out & hate I missed service....Jr was a great friend that no matter what kind of day I was having he could make me laugh & put a smile on my face when I would see him. Never seen him more happy than when he was with or talking about Abby & Max my heart goes out to his babies! Prayers going up for his family!
