Christine Augustine Marshall Swiech, age 97, was born on March 3, 1927, and went to be with our loving Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was a member of K of C Council 2917 Ladies Auxiliary and Kolbe Seniors.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon. She is survived by their two daughters and spouses, Connie and Jack Lawson, Tammie and Brian Bartkowiak; granddaughters, Jennifer Romero and husband Craig, Deanna Worthen and husband Chris, and Marissa Bartkowiak; great-grandchildren, Blake, Avery, Jules, and Brooks; sister, Willie Mae Kubiak; sisters-in-laws, Dorothy Swiech and Beverly Marshall; brother-in-law, Anton Wagner; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Windermere Estates Senior Living for their continuous care.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 W 34th St., Houston, Texas 77018, with a Vigil and Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Community, 10135 West Rd., Houston, Texas 77064. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy., Houston, Texas 77060. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Community, or the charity of your choice.
