Gladstone, Missouri - Danny Kappler was born in Kansas City, MO on June 13, 1946, and died at home in Gladstone, MO on April 28, 2023.
He was one of six children born to Bill and Josephine Kappler who preceded him in death as did his brother, Rodger; his sister, Mary Knievel; and his sister, Carmen McCullough.
He was a Raytown High School Class of 1964 graduate and a US Army veteran. He was an avid Chiefs and NASCAR fan.
He leaves his wife, Leslie Dermann Kappler; his sister, Paula McDonald; and his brother, Brian Kappler.
He was loved and will be missed.

Unfortunately the Kappler family dispersed and we have lost touch over the years. Danny and I along with Rodger would run into each other occasionally through the mid 70´s. Then the families moved from the inner city to the suburbs directions changed. I do have memories of the house on Maywood and a few overnighters. A death always seems to draw families inward my prayers with Danny and his family I am sure he will continue to look upon us.
