Never a morning or night passes without mentioning David in prayer. I know he knew the road to walk in life and there is no doubt in my mind, as we look at the picture of David, we look into the eyes of a saint.
Rest in the arms of Our Lord, David, we all hope to meet you again one day.
Please pray, David for us, we need pray so very much.

Reiterating what so many have others have attested to, David was a true gem to even know about. He clearly was dedicated and adamant about supporting those in need of the light he carried. His unique wit, knowledge he selflessly imparted, and incredible generosity of his time to support others will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace and may his light always be remembered.

To Mr. and Mrs. Niles:
I never met David in person, but we were "friends" online through an Internet fitness forum. David's passion for fitness was a reflection of who he was--someone who was always striving for personal improvement and growth. But more importantly, he shared his knowledge willingly and genuinely. He had a generous spirit and was truly one of the most good-hearted people I've come in contact with in my life. I also want you to know that he loved you and Rob, and all of his family members so much. Heaven truly gained an angel on 7/14. I'll never forget him. And you and your family will always be in my prayers.

To the Niles family, David was an extremely caring and loving soul. David reached out to me during my struggles with my disease and when in my darkest days, personally reached out to my own family to intervene in my life.. which ended up saving me from near death. I cannot begin to explain how much sorrow I feel, but I realize that David is with the lord now and is at peace.

Dear Bob, Pam and Rob, Please accept our sincere condolences. We apologize for not being able to attend the services for David, but please know that all of you remain in our prayers.

To the Niles Family,

Dave was a classmate of mine from BFHS '06 and we were in several classes together Junior and Senior year. Its hard to wrap my head around the loss of someone so gifted and passionate. Our '06 Feehan Family certainly is not the same without him. Know that your whole family is my prayers.

We would be most honored to meet you. We attend the 4pm Mass, most every Saturday, always in the very back. Right now, we are experiencing a virus that leads to a cough, we're all pretty sick, but should be better soon. Yesterday my son recorded a segment from 98.5 (he has it on his phone) concerning David and his many talents. They once again, speak very highly of David. He touched so many souls in such a positive way. I only knew David from church, I had no idea of his talent concerning sports. He did tell me of his love for figures and math. I didn't know him well, but enough to always feel I was in the presence of someone very special. My regret is that I didn't talk more with him, I feel much left unsaid.

I never met David, but was so saddened to hear of his passing.

I knew him by his chosen moniker: "STAT GEEK", my favorite caller on the Felger and Mazz show on 98.5. I was always happy and excited to hear his voice. He truly shined with his unique statistical analysis. The knowledge and personality he brought to the airwaves will be deeply missed.

The tragedy of this special young man losing his life to his disorder cannot be understated.
My thoughts and prayers are with his Father, Mother, Grandmother, Brother, Sister-in-law and the rest of the Niles family.

David will be remembered and missed by more people than you know. I hope he knew just how many fans he had as he achieved guest expert and celebrity status within the sports hub community.
RIP David. God Bless You. LONG LIVE STAT GEEK. We will miss you. You won't be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of David P. "Stat Geek" Niles. As a 98.5 The Sports Hub fan, I was heartbroken to hear the news of his passing. I will miss hearing him on Felger and Mazz. He was clearly a very special young man to have touched so many with merely the sound of his voice.

Dearest Family of David:
I tried so hard to attend the wake on the 17th but my GPS was telling me to take roads under construction and I ended up having an accident at exactly 7 PM so I never did make it to pay my respects in person. I can't begin to tell you the lives David touched. He remains in my heart and the hearts of my son, daughter and son in-law. What an amazing soul you have in heaven. Blessings abundant even though he left too early.

I am so deeply saddened hearing the news of David's passing. I was the enrichment teacher at PRES and had him for math. I remember him as a naturally curious boy with a gifted understanding of math. I am not surprised he was a stat person for sports. My thoughts and prayers are with the Niles family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Mr. and Mrs. Niles and family,

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I was a friend and classmate of Dave's at Feehan. I always and enjoyed joking around with Dave in class, making him laugh, talking sports. He was such a great guy and fun person to be around. I always was impressed and inspired by his work ethic and dedication to his studies. I always knew he would be successful as is reflected by his masters degree. I actually reconnected with him just two months ago to see how he was doing. Of course, I was met with a friendly message as if no time had passed. Again, I'm so sorry and will pray for your family and Dave.

With deepest sympathy,

I can't seem to believe David will no longer be standing at the back of St. Patrick Church in Natick. We knew David from our Saturday Vigil Mass and his life had more meaning to me than anyone could know. We prayed together for something important to me and I mentioned him in my prayers, morning and night. Once he asked me to pray hard for him for one week, not knowing he was always in my prayers. I prayed as usual for him but said a rosary at the adoration chapel for his intention on the Wednesday, he requested special prayers for. The following Saturday, I told him of my rosary and asked if his intention was answered. His response was that he didn't receive the result he was hoping for, but God must have a plan.
I sincerely believe there is a new saint in heaven and anyone who met David on this earth has been touched by an angel. He would have no idea of the tears shed for the loss of his life for so many, but with the deep faith he has, I'm sure he is with Christ, as we cry for this loss here on earth.
He mentioned his family to me and I always knew how very special they must be, to have raised such a devout, faithful son, who had a connection with Christ, we all strive for. My heart breaks for his family but I hope they can feel a little peace, knowing their son, brother, grandson, nephew, is an extension of their love and faith and has touched more souls on earth than many who live long lives. I'll miss you, David.

David's academic brilliance was paired with a wit and engaging personality that no doubt comes from being an avid sports fan here in New England. I was privileged to have David on my team as a college intern at Fidelity on two occasions. His work was not only exemplary, but he was patient with the rest of us as he explained the intricacies and nuance of his analysis so that we would eventually catch up with him. As both a Feehan and Bryant parent I want to extend my sincere condolences to the Niles family for myself and on behalf of those communities.
