Delvin was my brother's good friend, and our family loved him. I will never forget the amazing job he did when he sang and played the guitar at my mother's funeral.

My prayers and best wishes go to those who knew and loved Delvin. Years ago, he and I puffed through gym classes together. He played in a band with my brother. I remember well his happy, booming voice.

I am so sorry to learn of Delvin's passing. We met in 7th or 8th grade and went through high school together. He was such a kind person and we always loved to hear him play the guitar and sing. May God comfort you and your family. Sincerely, Patti Padgett Maag

To the Raley Family:
I am very sorry for your loss. I just recently learned of Delvin's situation and was deeply saddened. Delvin and I delivered the "RALEIGH TIMES" news paper together way back in the early 70's. I used to watch his band practicing in the house on Harrison Ave: he was very talented and was a great leader of the band. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tina - I am sooo sad to hear this but am really glad for Delvin as he had gone through so much. He is free. Hopefully, he can find my brother Tony and the 2 of them can have a jam session. I know it will be a hard because I still suffer every day. I will keep you and Austin in my thoughts and am sending all my love your way. Love and Peace, Carol B.
