Donald Rountree Obituary
He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Ervin Rountree.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 58 years, Alta; children, Donald Ray (Debora) Rountree, Lanita Jean (Robert) King, Robert Allen (Beth) Rountree, and Sonya Denise (Wayne) Taylor; grandchildren, Laura, Christina, Aaron, Gill, Heather, Tim, Ben, Nick, Nathan, Shelby, Austin, and Shannon; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Lavada (Louis) Bethards.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time. Entombment is at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family wishes that memorial contributions be made in Donald's name to Gospel Kingdom Church.

I am having a hard time imagining a world without Donald York Rountree in it. I knew him most of my life. I know in reality I was no longer family, but in my heart he will always be Dad, A most kind, loving and genuine man. My love and prayers to all of the family, I am deeply saddened for your loss.
