I just heard about Doug's passing yesterday. I am so sorry to hear this. I met him at the Marquette when visiting my mom there. He always called me Toes because my mom and I would go get a pedicures. A really special man.

We enjoyed so many laughs and chats, your sense of humor and kindnesses will always be remembered. I know you are supremely happy now that you are with your beloved Elaine . Rest in peace, my friend. Sincerest condolences to Heather and Heidi, I know you were so proud of them and all their accomplishments, never wanting more than for them to be happy in this life. I know that one of your very favorite memories was your surprise trip to the Rose Bowl with Heather.....go green go white. Semper Fi Denise

Going to miss you and your smiley face and the hugs. RIP Doug. God needed another strong soldier and police officer . God bless your family and prayers and condolences. Not going to be the same at the Marquette.
