Frances McGill Obituary

Frances McGill
03/07/1941 - 08/12/2025
Frances Carol McGill passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 7, 1941, in Temple, Texas, to Theresa and August Dusek.
In 1966, Frances married the love of her life, Weldon Marvin McGill of Humble, Texas, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, faith, and family.
She is survived by her three beloved sons: Jeffrey, Derrick, and Brandon. Frances was a dedicated public servant, working for the federal government for over 37 years.
In her free time, she found joy in oil painting, participating in church and neighborhood activities, and spending time with her husband, sons, and extended family. She especially cherished moments shared with her brother James Dusek and his wife Delora, along with her many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and countless friends.
Frances was a devoted Christian and a longtime member of Spring Woods United Methodist Church. Her kind spirit, warm smile, and unwavering faith touched the lives of everyone she met.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend - truly the best anyone could ask for.
