Fred Barela Obituary
Fred Barela passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2021 surrounded by family. He fought a courageous battle against cancer.
He enjoyed life and was loved by many. Fred had a very fulfilling lifetime career at John C. Lincoln Hospital. Fred is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynne Barela, his sons David (Sarah), Michael (Amy), three grandchildren, his sister Verna Cardenas, niece Andrea Cardenas Fileto and nephew Andrew Cardenas.
Fred was laid to rest on April 30, 2021 at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona.

Fred was a very special person. I worked with Fred at JCL for many years. Such a gentleman and always ready to solve a problem, never saying no when asked for help. Fred will always be remembered. Mary Baker
