Freda Viola Lynch, born May 23, 1927 in Otto, Texas. She was granted her angel wings on June 30, 2013. "It is God who arms me with strength and make my way perfect". Psalms 18:32. She was the daughter of Jesse J. Mercer and Emma C. Wolf. She was survived by her sister, Laura Emma Hasbrook; brother, William J. Mercer; children, Patrick C. Lynch, Marvin D. Lynch and AC Lynch; grandchildren, Toni Hudson, Jason Lynch, Jennifer Lynch, Andrew C. Lynch; numerous great grandchildren; daughter-in-laws, Donna Lynch and Dorothy Lynch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Lynch, son, Jerry T. Lynch, sisters, Helen Arnold, Pauline Mercer, Cleo Mercer, Maurine Arnold and Gladys Alexander; brothers, Thomas A. Mercer and Walter W. Mercer. Freda was a member of Abiding Life Baptist Fellowship Church for many years and was retired from Bayshore Medical Center as a Unit Secretary. She was a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6PM to 9PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10AM at Abiding Life Baptist Fellowship Church 4411 Burke Rd. in Pasadena, TX 77504. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Abiding Life Baptist Fellowship Church.
