Helen Faye Patten, age 72, of Corpus Christi, Tx, passed away in the early afternoon hours on September 12th, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born in Corpus Christi, Tx on February 10, 1953 to Clarence T Patten and Diana Mae Patten. Faye attended school in the Tuloso Midway School District where she excelled in basketball and met so many of her lifelong friends. She worked her entire life at the trucking company Whitey Patten Transportation, that her father started in 1963, where she dedicated her life to running the day to day operations of the company alongside her family and friends

A lifelong sports fan, she enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids basketball and football games, rarely missing a game. She loved to travel and attend concerts (huge Bob Seger fan) at various locations with her close friends. She enjoyed more than anything her trips to Italy with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Robert and Donald Patten. She is survived by her son Chris (Lisa) Gallet, daughter Jana (Bret) Gallet, grandchildren Kymberlee Barron, Jordan Morris, Sabrina Belford, Kameron Belford, Matthew Gallet, and Madison Belford, and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on September 26, 2025 from 5-7pm. Services will be held on September 27, 2025 from 3-5pm @ Sawyer George Funeral Home. There will be a dinner at Arlington Heights Church of Christ following the service. In lieu of flowers, please send them to Sawyer George Funeral Home.
