Jael Martinez Obituary

Jael Martinez, 29, of China Grove, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2025, due to injuries sustained in an vehicle accident in Jacksonville, Florida.

Born in Jackson County, Oklahoma on December 22, 1995, she was the daughter of Domingo Lorenzo Martinez Perez and Maria Del Carmen Herandez Nunez.

Jael worked for Spectrum-Charter Communications in Charlotte, NC as a corporate accountant.

Her smile, laughter and kindness will be missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, Jael is further survived by her sisters, Viviana Martinez Hernandez and Sarai Martinez Hernandez; and five nieces and nephews, Ximena Evelyn Tavira, Rubii Rosealie Martinez, Carlos Damian Tavira, Luke Maximilliano Martinez and Emma Juliette Garcia.

Jael will lie in repose at the home of her sister, Viviana, Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM until Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

The family will gather at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the funeral service which begins at 1:30 PM in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home. The burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
